National Testing Agency – UGC NET May Online Form 2021

National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education MoE (Earlier Ministry of Human Resource Development- MHRD) as an independent/ autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization. The NTA will conduct the next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 May 2021. The Test will comprise of two papers as given below:

  • Start Date of Online Submission of Application – 02/02/2021
  • End Date of Online Submission of Application – 02/03/2021 (Extended from 02 to 09/03/2021)
  • East date of payment of fee through Credit/ Debit /Net Banking upto 11:50 pm (through e-challan upto bank hours) – 10/03/2021 Extended from 03 to 10/03/2021 (till 11:50 pm)
  • Correction in particulars of Application Form on website only – 12 to 16/03/2021 Extended from 05 to 09/03/2021 to 12 to 16/03/2021
  • Date for Examination – 2 to 7, 10 to 12, 14 & 17/05/2021 (Postponed)
Age Relaxation
  • Maximum Age for JRF- 31 Years (01/03/2021)
  • Maximum Age for Assistant Professor – No age Limit
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Payment of Application
  • Application Fee for General/ Unreserved – Rs.1000/-
  • Application Fee forOther Backward Classes (OBC) – (NCL)/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – Rs.500/-
  • Application Fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender – Rs.250/-
  • Payment Method – through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking E-Challan  (SBI/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ICICI Payment Gateway)

How to Apply:
The candidates who desire to appear in the Test may see the details in the Information Bulletin for UGC-NET December 2020 Cycle (May 2021) which will be available on the website, and from 02 February, 2021.
The online application form will open on 02 February 2021. Candidates who desire to appear for the exam are required to apply online between the dates 02 February 2021 to 02 March The Application Fees can be paid upto 03 March 2021.
